Centralised Valuation Centres
RGUHS conducts script valuation through 6 high-security regional centres. Centralised valuation ensures consistency, anonymity, and faster result publication.
Current Valuation Cycle
Live progress on scripts being valued across all 6 centres.
Regional Valuation Centres
6 fortified centres across Karnataka — each with bio-metric access, CCTV, and secure storage.
How Centralised Valuation Works
- 1
Scripts Collected
Sealed bundles arrive at the regional centre via tamper-proof courier within 48 hours of the exam.
- 2
De-Identification
Roll numbers are masked. Scripts are randomly distributed to valuers — neither valuer nor candidate knows the other.
- 3
First Valuation
Empanelled examiner values the script as per the official scheme of valuation.
- 4
Random Audit
10% of scripts are randomly re-valued by a senior examiner to ensure consistency.
- 5
Second Valuation (if needed)
If first and audit valuations differ significantly, a third examiner adjudicates.
- 6
Marks Lock & Release
Final marks are locked in the RGUHS system. Results are published as per the exam calendar.
Why Centralised Valuation?
Strict Anonymity
Valuers never know which college or candidate the script belongs to. Eliminates bias.
Consistent Standards
All valuers use the same scheme of valuation. Senior examiners audit for consistency.
Faster Results
Centralised setup enables 60-day result cycles — half the time of decentralised valuation.
Transparent Records
Every script is logged with timestamp, valuer ID, and audit trail.
Regional Access
Examiners travel to the nearest centre — Karnataka-wide coverage minimises disruption.
Time-Bound
Each cycle has a published start and end date. SLAs are strictly enforced.
